CHENANI, May 6: Government Higher Secondary School, Chenani defeated HS Dhanas in the summit clash to bag the volleyball Under-17 boys title trophy in the 2-day Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament at HSS Chenani, here.
In volleyball Under-14 boys, MS Sangote defeated MS Madha in the final to claim the title.
In kho-kho Under-14 boys, HS Sewna claimed the trophy, while kho-kho Under-14 girls title went to HS Kither-Chirdi, defeating GHS Chenani in the final.
HSS Chenani won the kho-kho Under-17 boys title by defeating HS Sewna.
In kabaddi Under-17 boys, the final would be held between HSS Chenani and HS Marothi tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the wrestling gold in different weight categories went to Varinder Singh, Ajay Kumar, Sanhay Kumar and Shamsher Singh.
320 students participated in the tournament, with 263 boys and 57 girls, while the tournament was held under the overall supervision of Usha Kumari, zonal physical education officer, Chenani.
