JAMMU, Sept 13: Scouts and Guides of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana participated with zeal in the Tritiya Sopan / Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp, organized by the Bharat Scouts and Guides at Bharatiya Yog Sansthan, Jammu. The camp was held under the supervision of BSGHQ members Manjeet Kour (Jt. STC-G), RP Kotwal (STC-S), Kasturi Lal (Accounts Commissioner) and Madan Lal (SHQ-SM).
Chief Guests at the event were Arshad Choudhary, Chairman of Gujjar Trust and chairman of Crescent Public School and Shakun Choudhary, Principal of Harman Gmeiner School, Jammu. The camp featured activities such as Zumba, flag hoisting, Sarv Dharma Prarthana, BP exercises, campfire, and competitions like rangoli making, folk dance and layout inspection.
Out of 12 participating schools and 16 performances, Humanity Public School bagged first place in Folk Dance, showcasing Dogra Culture, second place in Rangoli (theme: Women Empowerment) and first in Layout Inspection, themed Jammu Smart City. Students also earned selection for the Jamburi National Camp in Lucknow.
The participants were trained by Guide Master Shivani Bandral. Principal Gaurav Charak expressed pride in the students’ achievement, while Vice-Principal Anku Charak encouraged them to excel in future camps.
