HP Public School celebrates annual day

JAMMU, Feb 8: HP Public School, Kot Bhalwal celebrated Annual Day function with pomp and show.
On the occasion, Former Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment, Abdul Ghani Malik, was the chief guest, while as Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Block Bhalwal was the guest of honour.
Rajni Kochhar presented welcome address, whereas the annual report was read by Veena Koul.
Students presented colourful cultural extravaganza including NCC song, Punjabi bhangra, Dhamini-a tribute to women. Students of nursery presented a wonderful dance on different rhymes. Rajbir Kour presented classical dance which was highly appreciated by the audience.
While speaking Abdul Ghani Malik laid stress on quality of education and asked the students to work hard and with dedication to achieve their desired goals.
Syra Malik, Vice Chairperson, Mubeena Malik, Managing Director, Prof Sanjay Tickoo, Principal, Dr Mohammed Sharief, Sarpanch of Bhalwal Raj Dev Singh Jamwal other citizens of the area were also present.
Later, prize distribution ceremony was held in which best students, well obedient student, most active student, well disciplined student awards were given.
In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Pinkey Bhatt. The programme was anchored by Shamshad Ahmed and Harsha Sharma.
