UDHAMPUR, Feb 8: Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) celebrated annual day with fanfare.
On the occasion, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia was the chief guest, while as Balbir Singh, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur was the guest of honour.
Sunil Sharma, Principal of school presented the annual report and also highlighted the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
Students presented colourful cultural programme including dance items and songs, which were highly appreciated by the audience with thundering applauses.
Balwant Singh Mankotia asked the students to work hard and with dedication to achieve their desired goals.
Later, students who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities were honoured with blazers and mementos.
Retired Director SSA Vinay Mohan Raina, Retd Principal Government Degree College, Udhampur Prof Ajit Singh, Prof Shiv Nirmohi, Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, SMVDU besides many others were present on the occasion.
