JAMMU, Dec 2: Himachal Pradesh were 173 for the loss of three wickets after Jammu and Kashmir scored 235 runs in the first innings of the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy match at Luhnu Cricket Ground Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
Earlier, resuming from an overnight score of 218/5, J&K added just 17 runs to their overnight score and collapsed at 235 runs in 87.4 overs. Dhruv Sharma, who was unbeaten on 68 runs overnight, fell on the same score. He faced 137 balls and hit 9 boundaries, while Bilal Ahmed Bhat contributed 59 runs off 110 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Hatim Reyaz (40) was another major contributor.
Sachin B Sharma was the pick of the bowlers for Himachal Pradesh who captured 6 wickets by conceding 45 runs in 22.4 overs, while Sahil Sharma bagged 2 wickets and Daksh S Narayan claimed one wicket.
In reply, Himachal Pradesh was 173/3 at stumps on Day two today. Satvik Katoch was unbeaten on 65 runs off 109 balls, studded with 6 boundaries, wicketkeeper batter Ujjawal Sharma was at the crease on 25 runs off 55 balls with four boundaries. Arjun Wadhwa and Ritvick Verma contributed 32 and 25 runs to the total respectively. For J&K, Nashant Kumar and Mousub Mohd Bhat claimed one wicket each.
