JAMMU, Dec 24: On the 3rd day of Shaheedi Hafta organized by Gurudwara Prabhandhak Committee and Sikh Nojawan Sabha Upper Gadi Garh at local Gurudwara Sahib, to pay homage to the martyrdom of Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, the youngest sons of the Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, today.
The students participants from class 5th to 7th put lights on the sacrifices of Chote Sahibzaade in the form of Lecture and Kavita. The competition started with Gurbani Kirtan following speech by president of Gurudwara Committee Avtar Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Avtar singh emphasize on the importance of this week in Sikh religion. In the month of December (1705) , Sahibzada Fateh Singh who was the youngest of Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Mata Gujar Kaur ji, Sacrificed their lives for their faith and the right to remain Sikhs.
The winners of 3rd day of competition were Ajmeet Kour, Gagandeep Singh, Tanpreet Singh, Guneet Kour, Ishpreet Singh, Maneet Kour, Akshdeep Singh, Joshvir Singh, Tamanpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh, Taranjeet Singh and Ranvir Singh.
