JAMMU, Jan 18: Hubs of Learning (HoL) teacher’s training workshop was organised for the five subjects namely English, Maths, Economics, History and Science at GD Goenka Public School, Jammu (GDGPSJ).
In the workshop important topics were discussed keeping in mind the methodology adopted by respective faculty members to deliver their best using presentations, lectures, models and smart class material (slides).
CBSE, New Delhi has initiated a concept called Hubs of Learning (HoL), wherein five to six neighbourhood CBSE schools are clubbed together to explore the possibilities of growth through sharing and caring.
GDGPSJ has been assigned the responsibility of the lead collaborator school, whereas five other HOL member schools, APS, Damana, APS Miran Sahib, APS BD Bari, APS Samba and MHS DAV Public School, Akhnoor were the Mentee schools.
40 teachers from HOL member schools brought about very informative points which were highly appreciated by one and all.
Principal GDGPSJ, Rajesh Rathore, the lead collaborator conversed with all the teachers in their respective venues and shared his views to bring out the best from each resource person. He also shared that a few teachers from GDGPSJ had gone as resource persons to take and attend sessions in other mentee schools. The day was well spent and showcased that “Sharing is Caring.”
