JAMMU, Nov 13: In a promising event organized by Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA) at Shiva Roller Skating Institute Peerkho here, Hockey Club Classico emerged as winners by topping the league chart.
The winning team comprised Vinay Bakshi, Jugraaj Singh, Jatin Sabarwal, Ankush Gupta, Rupinder Paul Singh, Darpan and Vinay. Addiction Club and Roller Athlete finished second and third respectively.
In Inline hockey, undefeated Indian Hawks lifted the title convincingly. In Junior Boys category, Heritage School secured first position, Roller Athlete and 5 Star Club finished second and third respectively.
In Sub Junior boys, Heritage School emerged winner while 5-Star Club finished runner up.
On the occasion, the winners were awarded medals by Mohammad Abbas Wani, MLA Tangmarg and President Winter Games Federation J&K, Abdul Quim, Chief Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, Ravi Singh Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, GS Khurmi President JKRSA. Senior members of the association namely Seema Kharyal, Roshan Gupta and Rajesh Anand were also present.
