JAMMU, Dec 28: Hiteshwar Singh of Yogananda College won gold in men’s inline event to emerge champion in the State Roller Skating Championship, which concluded at Shiva Skating Institute at Peerkho, here today.
Kavneet Kour emerged champion in women’s inline event, while Dhananjay Singh Charak and Harpreet Kour bagged gold medals in the men and women quads events in the championship.
Earlier, in Under-10 boys quads, Kartikey Puri emerged champion, while Jaipreet Singh won gold in Under-10 boys inline event.
Abhirab and Jaideep were adjudged champions in quads and inline boys respectively, while in 10-12 quads girls, Diya Jamwal became the champion.
In 12-14 girls quads, Nikita Thakur emerged champion, while Manya Dubey was the champion 12-14 inline girls.
Arush Kapoor and Dhruv Gupta clinched emerged toppers in 12-14 boys inline and quads respectively.
In 14-16 quads boys, Raghav Gupta emerged champion in 14-16 boys quads, while Shristi became champion in 14-16 girls quads.
Shaguneet became champion in 14-16 inline girls.
GS Khurmi, president J&K Roller Skating Association was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
