Hiranagar Club, Khalsa Club enter next stages in Hockey Tourney

JAMMU, Oct 28: Hiranagar Club and Khalsa Club, Gole Gujral registered emphatic win over rivals in their respective matches and sailed into the next round of the ongoing 2nd Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, being organized by Hockey J&K in collaboration with Kashmir Sikh Sangat at KK Hakku Astro Turf Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Hiranagar Club defeated Bhargav Public School by 5-2.
For Hiranagar Club side, Rajinder Singh scored two goals, while Rohit Sharma, Suraj Singh and Sanjay Jasrotia netted one goal each.
For Bhargav Public School side, Tushar Sharma and Bhavneet Singh scored the goals.
In the second match, Khalsa Club Gole Gujral registered win over Young Star Simbal Camp by straight five goals to zero.
The matches were officiated by Jagjeet Singh, Sanapati, Jaspreet Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Amarjeet Singh and Joginder Singh.
