Himanshu shines in Tri-Nation Karate-Do C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 23: Himanshu Sharma, son of Kewal Krishan Sharma, student of BSF School Paloura won silver medal in the Indo-Nepal-Iran Tri-Nation Karate-Do Championship, organized by Shotokan Karate-Do International European Federation of India at Amritsar in Punjab, recently.
Himanshu, who clinched silver medal in 60 kg category in the championship, was one of the two participants from Jammu and Kashmir, representing India in this prestigious event. The other participant from J&K was Rajesh Kumar.
Before this achievement, ace player, Himanshu has won many medals at the State and National Level events.
The championship was held on December 21 and 22, 2013 at Amritsar.
