Heritage shines at Inter-School Swimming Competition

JAMMU, Sept 4: Students of Heritage School Jammu displayed their spectacular aquatic talent in an Inter School Swimming Competition. Over 150 young swimmers from Jammu and Pathankot participated in the event, showcasing their dedication and skill in the pool.
In the girls under 14 age category, Heritage School emerged as the champions, with star swimmers Tegmeet Kour (8-C) and Aditi (10-E) clinching multiple gold medals in various events. Tegmeet Kour secured gold in the 25 meter freestyle and breaststroke, along with relay gold. Aditi triumphed in the 25 meter breaststroke and contributed to the relay gold.
In the girls under-17 division, Vamika Parmar (10-A) displayed remarkable prowess by winning gold in both the 50 meter breaststroke and 50 meter butterfly events. In the under-12 competition of boys, Pratyaksh Vir Parmar (4-C) showcased his talent with gold medals in the 25 meter breaststroke, 25 meter butterfly, medley and a bronze in the relay (Under 14).
In the boys under- 14 categories, Krishna Talla (7-D) secured silver in the 50 meter breaststroke, a bronze in the 25 meter breaststroke, and a relay bronze. Krishang (7-D) also contributed silver in the 50 meter breaststroke and a bronze in relay. Puneesh Puri (6-F) secured a bronze in the 25m freestyle and a relay bronze.
