Heritage School represents India at International Dance Festival

JAMMU, Nov 22: The Heritage School team of talented dancers, who proudly bore the Indian Tricolour at VI International Citrus Festival Turkey, returned home after their successful weeklong tour.
It was an honour for Heritageans to represent their motherland at an international forum. Their hearts surged with pride when they were called as ‘Team Hindustan’.
It was a great opportunity for Heritageans to interact with dance troops from various other countries of the world to learn about cultures of different parts of the world and spot the uniqueness and similarities on same stage. It was indeed a rare privilege to represent India and showcase her varied dance forms.
They won accolades for their impressive performances of Kud and Rouf folk dances of J&K and semi classical dance forms of India. The audience was enchanted by their colourful traditional attires. The performances were covered on all local and international news channels.
On their arrival to India, they were accorded a warm welcome by the school.
Principal and the staff congratulated the team and their mentors Shalini Sharma and Neha Sharma on their stupendous achievement.
