JAMMU, Sept 23: Heritage School has been ranked first in category of Co-Ed Schools in Jammu and Kashmir as per the survey conducted by the popular human development magazine ‘Education World’. Heritage has achieved this remarkable feat two years in a row.
Education World in association with C-Fore, Delhi, conducted its annual school ranking survey in 25 cities and education hubs across India to rate 931 schools. “The objective of the annual EW India School Rankings conducted by C-Fore the well-known Delhi-based market research agency is to track and proclaim the country’s best schools as role models to the entire community of educators and inspire top-ranked schools themselves to improve from good to great,” says Dilip Thakore, publisher-editor of Education World.
Being a young school this achievement is quite stunning and reflects on the commitment of the management of the school towards contemporary education for the children of Jammu. Heritage School outshone every other Co-Ed school in Jammu on 14 parameters including academic reputation, faculty competence, leadership quality, sports education, disabilities friendliness, and community services.
It is state of art infrastructure, child care policy, sterling standards of curricular and co-curricular activities has made it one of the premier institutions in J&K.
Among the most recent achievements is the opening of Virendra Sehwag Cricket Academy in the school campus and 3 students of the school have received scholarship and citation from Samriti Zubin Irani, Minister HRD Ministry, Government of India for being among 0.1 per cent All India Merit List of CBSE XII Board Exam 2014 (Science Stream).
The country’s top schools were awarded in award function at New Delhi.
