Heritage Public School enters cricket finals in Sportathon Cup

JAMMU, Nov 9:  Heritage Public School entered the finals of cricket Tournament, in the ongoing Sportathon Cup, 2016, here.
In Indoor Cricket, the second semifinal match was played between K C Sports Club and Heritage Public School in which KCSC won the toss and decided to bat first.  Batting first, KCSC scored 40 runs in 10 overs. Mohsin and Sahil made 9 and 8 runs respectively. From bowling side, Shalok and Faizan took 2 wickets each. While chasing the target Heritage Public made the required runs in just 8.5 overs. Aarsh was the top scorer with 15 runs, while Tushar and Tarun also contributed 11 runs each. From bowling side, Abhay and Ashank took 2 wickets each.
Now, Heritage Public School will take on K C Public School in the finals tomorrow.
Whereas in Outdoor Cricket, the second semifinal match was played between K C Sports Club and Heritage Public School in which KCSC won the toss and decided to Bat first.  Batting first, KCSC scored 124 runs in 20 overs. Amaan and Dikshant made 37 and 26 runs respectively. From bowling side, Virender and Farooq took 2 wickets each. While chasing the target Heritage Public made the required target in just 19 overs. Farooq was the top scorer with 47 runs. Arsh also contributed 36 runs. From bowling side Uttkarsh took 1 wicket. Now Heritage Public and Mayank Goswani Cricket Club will meet in the finals tomorrow.
