Helpline Humanity organizes quiz competition

JAMMU, Feb 11: Helpline Humanity organized quiz competition at Mata Sarswati Pustakalaya Jagti Township, here today.
Six teams from drawn from 14 schools participated in the Kashmiri Centric quiz competition.
The participating schools included Hee Maa Public school Dhami Jagti, Xavier Public High School Khanpur Nagrota, Shanti Niketan Nagrota, Govt Higher Secondary Camp School Jagti, Govt. Middle camp School Jagti, Army Public School Nagrota, St Xavier Public School Barnai, BSF Public School Paloura, Chinar Public school Nagrota, Shanti Nikatan Education Institute Jagti , Burn Hall School Srinagar, Govt High school Achabal And Shamrock Pathshalla Jagti
The theme of the quiz competition was “Preserve Kashmiri Cultural Heritage, and Mother Tongue”.
The competition began with Sarswati Vandana and Gyatri Mantra presented by ShemrockPathshalla and the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Dr Surinder Kaul, Coordinator of GKPDP and Pt Moti Kaul, Senior KP Leader and chairman Pt RN Kaul Memorial Trust.
The welcome address was presented by Col GK Raina, Director Helpline Humanity
Opinder Ambardar was the quizmaster, while MK Bhat, president Helpline Humanity was the scorer.
The 1st prize won shared by Ritik koul & Naitra Hakhu of BSF Public school, Tejus Raina of Army Public school Nagrota, Divit Koul of Chinar Public School Nagrota, while the 2nd prize was bagged by Shanti Niketan Nagrota & Jagti- Anukush Wakhoo, Suhani Bhat, Adil Raina
The third prize was won by Sparsh Raina of Govt Hr Secondary School Camp Jagti and Umesh Zadoo CUJ.
Dr Surinder Kaul and Pt Moti Kaul while speaking on the occasion lauded the efforts of Helpline Humanity in organising extra-curricular activities for the children of the community.
MK Bhat highlighted the activities and achievements of Helpline Humanity.
