JAMMU, Mar 25: After scoring 132 runs each in the stipulated 15 overs, KC Srinagar and HC Srinagar match ended in a tie and the match was decided in the super-over, wherein later prevailed over the former to register a thrilling win the 2nd Christmas Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized jointly by JKP and Christian Sports Organization at KC Sports Club ground, here.
Irfan and Inayat scored 72 and 30 runs for HC Srinagar, while Owais top scored with 70 runs from KC Srinagar. For KC Irshad took 2 wickets, while for HC Amin, Bashir and Zahoor scalped 2 wickets each. Irfan of HC Srinagar was adjudged man of the match.
In another match, Christian Sports Organization defeated KC Srinagar by 32 runs in an easy contest. CSO scored 126 runs, with Danny and Anthony contributing 37 and 25 runs to the total respectively.
In reply, KC Srinagar bundled out for 94 runs. Owais and Rameez contributed 27 and 23 runs to the total respectively. Neeraj was the pick of the bowlers for CSO, who took 3 important wickets and bagged man of the match award.
