KATHUA, Jan 9: Haryana CC and Kolkata CC emerged winners by trouncing their rivals with two and seven wickets respectively in the ongoing 9th Police Martyrs Memorial Inter-Club T20 Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, here today.
The third quarter final match was played between Champion Academy Chandigarh and Haryana Cricket Club in which Chandigarh Cricket Academy gave target of 101 runs, whereas the opponent team chased the target in 18.5 overs by losing eight wickets and thus won the match two wickets. Harshit was declared as man of the match who scored 25 runs and also took one wicket.
Another quarter final match was played between Sabhi-Xl Hoshiarpur and Kolkata Cricket Club wherein the Sabhi-XI scored 145 runs by losing all wickets in two overs left from the stipulated 20 overs. The opponent team Kolkata Club easily won the match in 16.5 overs by losing only three wickets. Atul was declared man of the match for his brilliant performance of 65 runs in 50 balls with the help of 5 boundaries and 4 sixes.
