Harleen to represent India team in Softball Asia Cup

JAMMU, Mar 25: Harleen Kour, Softball player from J&K will represent India team in Asia Cup (Women) Softball Championship scheduled to be held at LNG Sports Town, Incheon, Korea from April 2 to 8.
Harleen Kour- a young and energetic Softball player from Jammu district started playing Softball sport at the age of 13 (Thirteen). She is a student of Carmel Convent Higher Secondary School, Kunjwani and started her career from District & Inter-School level competitions. She has participated in many School Nationals and National championships organized by the Softball Association of India and School Games Federation of India.
The selection of the players for the India team was done during selection trials at Indore in Madhya Pradesh in February and now, she is all set to be part of Indian National Women Softball team to represent the country at international platform.
Waseem Raja Khan, general secretary J&K Softball Association congratulated Harleen for her selection in the Indian national women team. The Indian team is leaving for Korea from Delhi on March 31.
