Handoo appointed Chief Coach of India for Asian Games

JAMMU, Jan 20: The Wushu Association of India has appointed Kuldeep Handoo of J&K Police as National Chief Coach for the 18th Asian Games to be held in Indonesia from August 18 to September 4, 2018.
During the recent meeting held at Meerut Wushu Association of India Headquarters, the Selection Committee of India finalized his name as the Chief Coach, to be assisted by 4 coaches namely, Rajesh Kumar Tailor (Rajasthan), Rajvir Singh (CRPF), Ravi Prakash Tripathi (SAI NS NIS Patiala) and M Sachidananda Singh (Manipur).
The Selection Committee of the WAI also finalized 68 National Campers including coaches and supporting staff for the 1st Phase of the National Wushu Coaching camp at SAI Bhopal from January 20 to February 28, 2018. The National Coaching camp will be organized by the Sports Authority of India.
