Govt should help sports, sportsmen of HP: Great Khali

KANGRA, Jul 5: All  the consecutives governments of Himachal Pradesh have failed to deliver the goods to encourage the sports and sportsmen of this hill state and as such he was forced to start a coaching centre at Jalandhar.
This was stated by  former WWE  Wrestlers  Great Khali here while talking to media persons during visit to the town. He said that he was proud of being a Himachali  and was eager to do something for this hill state but for this, the state government should come forward sincerely.
He said that there was no dearth of the talent in Himachal Pradesh and eight youths from the state were undergoing training in his coaching centre. He said that he had participated in the WWE and has defeated almost all the wrestlers of the world which has brought laurels to the state.
Forty three-year-old Great Khali said that he had great desire to establish a training centre in this hill state to impart training to the budding wrestlers here. He said the state government should come forward to help sports and sportsmen in this hill state in right perspective.
He said that he along with those youths who are getting training at his centre will again be at WW ring after one year. (UNI)
