JAMMU, Jan 11: To examine the desirability of appointing outstanding sportspersons against Gazetted posts and modalities thereof, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has today accorded sanction to the constitution of 5-member Committee to be chaired by the Commissioner Secretary to Government, General Administration Department.
Secretary to Government, Youth Services and Sports Department will be the Member/Secretary, while the other three members include Secretary, Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Secretary J&K State Sports Council and Additional Secretary to Government, General Administration Department (Monitoring).
The constitution of the Committee was in reference to the decision taken in the meeting chaired by the Governor on 21.08.2018 to review the sports activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
