JAMMU, Jan 29: Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu organized a one-day workshop cum exhibition on the theme ‘Low Cost Teaching Aids’, here today.
Various local private BEd Colleges participated in the workshop.
Earlier, Principal, Dr Kaushal Samotra presented welcome address, while Dr Lokesh Verma, Dr Mubarak Singh and Dr Darshana Sharma were the guests of honour.
In her inaugural speech, she highlighted the various components of the workshop and threw light on the significance of the event in strengthening the profession of teaching. The guests of honour highlighted their views on the workshop.
Dr Darshna Sharma, Coordinator MEd, DDE, University of Jammu also spoke on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Kawa College bagged first prize, while Government College of Education and MIER College of Education bagged second and third prize respectively. Three more prizes were given to the host college participants for their performance in the preparation of low cost teaching aids.
Later-on, Prof CL Shivgotra presented vote of thanks on the occasion.
