JAMMU, Oct 25: The students of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Parkash Bansal Charitable Trust blossomed in the Jammu District Judo Championship, organized by J&K Judo Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, recently.
The effort of the school judokas as also their coach, Shweta Thakur in securing good number of medals in this prestigious championship was lauded by the School Principal, Jyoti Asija.
The students who bagged gold medals included Malvika Kapoor of Class 8th and Ritish Thakur of Class 7th, while the students who won silver medals included Amrita of Class 7th, Anshika of Class 6th, Vanshika of Class 7th, Saimran of Class 7th and Prachi of Class 7th.
The bronze medals went to Tejasvi Asija of Class 5th, Arushi of Class 6th, Nehal of Class 8th, Shivani of Class 7th, Smridhi of Class 7th, Tanushka of Class 4th, Anisha of Class 6th, Hassan of Class 6th, Sambha of Class 6th and Nakul of Class 7th.
