JAMMU, Mar 19: The building of Government Girls Primary School Kherowal, Dewangarh (Chakrohi), Suchetgarh in R.S Pura near here is in dilapidated condition.
A handout stated that the school came up nearly 45 years back and has courtyard along a road and is 1 km from the residence of the two times MLA and ex-minister and not very far off from all other ex-legislators.
It also stated that the School gets waterlogged during rains.
The pathetic condition of the school exposes the poor utilization of increased budgetary allotment in education and mission of ‘Beti Padao, Beti Bachao’. Locals of the area said that the so called efforts of ‘Back to Villages’ must have surely missed this institute.
They urged upon J&K LG to look into the matter.
