GGM Science College drubs GDC Hiranagar by 3-1 in hockey

JAMMU, Sept 21: Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College defeated Government Degree College Hiranagar by three goals to one (3-1) in the Inter-College Hockey (men) Tournament, here today.
The match ended in a tie in the stipulated time, while in shootouts, Kamaljot Singh, Montak Singh and Shubham Sharma scored goals for GGM Science College and the only goal for the GDC Hiranagar team was scored by Vikas Sharma.
In the women’s section, GCW Gandhi Nagar got walkover.
Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director Sports, University of Jammu inaugurated the tournament in the presence of Prof.  Rajinder Singh, Sandeep Sharma (Physical Director), Romesh Sharma, Jai Bharat, Dr. Brij Baloria, Harsimran Singh and Jasbir Singh.
The Tournament is being conducted by P.D. Singh.
