JAMMU, Oct 19: Defeating PG Arts by six goals to four (6-4) via tie-breaker in the summit clash, GDC Kathua lifted the title trophy of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Football (Men) Tournament at Jammu University here today.
Narayan, Aniket, Krishna, Aman, Paramveer and Jatin were the goal scorers from GDC Kathua, while Rajan, Madhav, Mussa and Aquil netted the goals for PG Arts.
Dr. Duad Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, who lauded the efforts of the players from both the teams.
The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Rahul Sharma, Dheeraj Menia, Dil Bahadur, Rahul Ghai, Ajay Singh and Gagan Kumar.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof Ajay Sharma, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, Dr Noor and Sumeet Dogra.
