JAMMU, Mar 22: G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust organized an impressive function to felicitate Kindergarten students, here today.
Sadanand Ward Mailliard, Trustee of Mount Madona Centre, California, USA was the chief guest on the occasion.
He is one of the oldest and most well established yoga Centers in the United States. He and his students were featured in a documentary film called Project Happiness. His current work is exploring initiatives to transform some of the methods used in teaching.
The function started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest followed by Ganesh and Sarastwati Vandana. The theme of the ceremony was based on the Fairy Tale-‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.
Little kids presented items which enthralled the audience. Unlimited potential of every child was explored in the function.
Earlier, Sanya Bansal presented welcome address and lauded the role of the teachers for putting in their efforts in grooming the kids for a splendid performance.
The Principal of the School, Dr R P Singh felicitated the Goenkans kids and said that every child’s potential is unique. It has to be nurtured to the fullest for all round development.
Dr. Singh further said that the Management is looking ahead for better prospects and aiming at greater heights.

The fairy tale show concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
