JAMMU, Nov 6: Government College for Women Parade today organized an Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition and Symposium on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Teams from Mahant Bachittar Singh (MBS) College of Engineering and Technology, GDC Bishnah, GDC Paloura, GCW Kathua, GDC (Boys) Kathua GDC R.S Pura and the host college participated in the quiz competition.
The first prize in the Quiz Competition was bagged by MBS College, while the second and third prizes went to GDC Bishnah and GCW Parade, respectively.
In Inter-Collegiate Symposium Competition on the theme “Relevance of the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in the Modern World” was also organized in the college. Students from various colleges of Jammu province participated in the symposium enthusiastically.
Rajinder Singh, Retired ZEPO who was one of the jury members addressed the students.
The first, second and third prizes in Symposium Competition were bagged by Anmol Sharma of GDC Bishnah, Jasmeet Kour GCW Parade, Skilva Mahotra of GCW Kathua, respectively.
