JAMMU, Dec 2: Game Changer Cricket Club and Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) registered big victories over their rivals in the ongoing Nagrota Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Team Jammu at Khel Gaon, near here.
Game Changer defeated Latti Cricket Club in an easy contest by 8 wickets.
Batting first, Latti Cricket Club collapsed at a meagre total of 79 runs. Rahul scored 17 runs, while Nasir, Azim, Aquib and Ashank contributed 12, 11, 10 and 9 runs respectively. For Game Changer Cricket Club, Abhi was the pick of the bowlers, who took 6 wickets by conceding 11 runs, while Sachin Sharma and Yogesh Sikka claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Game Changer Cricket Club chased the target easily by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Ankush scored 33 runs, studded with 4 fours and one six, while Kanav Saini contributed unbeaten 32 runs with the help of 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. For Latti Club, Azim took both the wickets to fall.
In another match, SKCC defeated Udhampur Cricket Academy in an easy contest by 48 runs.
Batting first, SKCC scored 169 runs in stipulated 20 overs, while Udhampur Cricket Academy bundled out for 121 runs, thus lost the match by 48 runs
Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Yash Sharma was the guest of honour. The matches were officiated by Sachin Singh and Anil Langeh, while the tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Naveen Koul.
