RAJOURI, Mar 11: Team of Gakhrote defeated Rehan in the final match by 8 wickets, organised by J&K Police under the banner of ‘Civic Action Programme’ at Peeri Kotranka, here today.
About six teams are participating in the championship.
The Rehan team made 54 runs in 9.5 overs, while the Gakhrote won the match by 8 wickets in 8.3 overs by losing only 2 wickets and registered 8 wickets win over their opponents.
Sachin Singh of Gakhrote team was declared as man of the match, while man of the series award went to Sajid Khan.
Principal GHSS Peeri was the chief guest of the closing ceremony and he presented the awards to the winning and runner-up team in presence of I/c Police Post Peeri Sub-Inspector, Maqsood Ahmed.
