Four days test match concludes

JAMMU, Nov 24: A four days cricket test match between Greenfield Green and Greenfield Blue teams comprising budding players of Jammu ended in draw at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The test match was organized by Coach Balbir Singh who remained instrumental in training budding players of the Jammu under supervision of Head Coach Naveen Sharma.
On the occasion, Ranjeet Kalra, Advisor for Sports Council and Youth Affairs, Government of Lakshadweep and Member JK Cricket Association, was the chief guest, while Surjit Singh, Ex Ranji player and ace cricketer of Jammu Dhruv Mahajan were also present. They witnessed the proceedings of the match and applauded the performance of young cricketers.
Ranjeet Kalra gave away the ‘Budding player of the Green field’ trophy to Anand Abrol, ‘Best Bowler’ to Arya Athrav and Manik Raina was adjudged as ‘Best Batsman’.
Ace cricketer of Jammu Dhruv Mahajan shared his cricketing experiences with budding players and assured them of expert training session on regular basis in near future.
Parents of the players requested Ranjeet Kalra to provide institutional support in upgrading the cricketing facilities so that talented players can be groomed to represent at international level, to which Kalra assured all possible help from his side.
