Football tournament in full swing at TRC, Bakshi Stadium

SRINAGAR, Dec 25: The 18th Police Martyrs Memorial Football tournament is going on at full swing at TRC and Bakshi Stadium, here today.
The first match was played between Zone Sopore and State Sports Council at TRC which was won by State Sports Council by 1 goal to nil. The lone goal was scored by Shabir, while Basit was declared as man of the match for his excellent performance as Goalkeeper.
The 2nd match was played between DFA Bandipora and Jehlum FC and the match was won by DFA Bandipora by 4 goals to 1. The 1st goal scorer of DFA Bandipora was Rashid Fayaz, while three consecutive goals were netted by Aqib Ayaaz who was announced as man of the match.
In the 3rd match which was played between Kashmir United and DFA Pulwama at TRC. The former clinched the match by 3 goals to nil. 1st and 3rd goals were scored by Shafayat and 2nd goal by Imran. Shafayat was announced as man of the match.
The 4th match was played between Kashmir Panthers and Ali Jana FC at Bakshi Stadium which was won by Ali Jana FC by 6 goals to 1. The goal scorers were Ubaid, Sahil, Farhan, Aafreen and Moomin Bashir for the winning team, while the lone goal was scored by Zahid Rasool for the losing team. Moomin Bashir was declared as man of the match.
The 5th match was played between Seven Star FC and Star Kashmir FC at Bakshi Stadium, which was won by Seven Star FC by 4 goals to 2, via tie breaker. The goal scorers for Seven Star FC were Haziq, Umer, Muneeb, and Arsalan, while for the losing team; the goals were netted by Ayaan and Yasin. Rahil was announced as man of the match.
The last match was played between Galaxy FC and DFA Budgam, which was won by the former by 2 goals to 1. For Galaxy FC, Umer Dar and Nadeem Khan scored goals, while Anzar netted a goal for the losing team. Nadeem Ahmad was declared as man of the match.
