JAMMU, Apr 30: The Inter Hostel Football Tournament was held at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) by Board for Sports Activities.
The final of Tournament was played between Trikuta Hostel and Vindhyachal Hostel. Trikuta Hostel won the Tournament defeating Vindhyachal Hostel by 3-1.
The team led by Capt. Aniket Sharma remained unbeaten throughout the Tournament.
In the final, Vikram Singh , Faiq Bashir and Maheep Dubey scored the goals for Trikuta Hostel and Abdul Manan scored the only goal for Vindhyachal Hostel.
Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, Prof Sanjeev Jain congratulated the winners and runners-up teams and lauded their efforts for good show.
The organisers included Ashok Sharma, Director Sports, Shrine Board and Rajiv Kumar, President Board for Sports Activities and Capt. Sucha Singh, Sports Coach of the University.
