BARAMULLA, Sept 29: Annual League Football Tournament, being organised by District Football Association, commenced at Government Degree College Ground, here today.
The inaugural match was played between 3-Star FC Fatehpora and Dash FC Baramulla wherein Dash FC trounced 3-Star FC by 2:0 goals.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr GN Itoo was the chief guest who inaugurated the tournament while SSP Baramulla, Abdul Qayoom Shah was the guest of honour. Principal GDC Baramulla, Peer Sirajudin vice-president JKFA and Abdul Majid Kakroo, Ex-international Footballer were also present during the inaugural ceremony.
About 60 teams are participating in this tournament.
