Football Competition commences

JAMMU, Sept 21: Inter District Division Level Football Competition for all age groups of boys, being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports commenced at GGM Science College here today.
Seven districts of Jammu Division are taking part in the competition.
During the inaugural function, ZPEO Jourian, Jaswant Singh Manhas who is the Convener of the tournament, along with Organizing Committee members, technical officials and escorted officials of different Districts were present at the venue and wished all the best to all the teams.
In U-19 Football, District Samba beats District Poonch by 1-0 goal, while District Kathua defeats District Rajouri by 2-0 goals.
In U-17 Football, District Jammu trounced District Samba by 2-0 goals, District Kathua beat District Udhampur by 1-0 goal and District Reasi beats District Rajouri by 5-0 goals.
In U-14 Football, District Samba defeats District Reasi by 3-0 goals.
Meanwhile, District Jammu wins all three finals by defeating their rivals in the Inter District Division Level Badminton Competition in all age groups of girls at MA Stadium, here.
The matches were officiated by the panel of experts of concerned disciplines from Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu.
