SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Football Club Views trounced Musuada Foundation FC by a solitary goal while Jhelum FC registered emphatic win over Shehr-e-Khas by 4 goals to nil in the ongoing Super Division DFA Srinagar Annual Football League Tournament -2021, played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The 1st match was played between Musuada Foundation FC and FC Views. Musuada Foundation FC was offensive right from the start of the match and they missed two to three sure short goal chances. The challenge was well taken by FC Views and they succeeded in converting a cross into the goal in the 36th minute through Muneeb. However, Musuada Foundation FC dominated the show and went on an attacking spree trying to level the score but had to face tough opposition from FC Views defenders. The match ended with FC Views defeating Musuada Foundation FC by a solitary goal.
The 2nd match of the Super Division was played between Shehr-e-Khas & Jhelum FC. Both the teams played quality Football. Jehelum FC scored three goals in the 1st half. In the second half, Shehr-e-Khas team tried hard to equalize the game but could not find the net but their opponent Jehlum FC scored another goal in the 58th minute and won the match by 4 goals to nil.
The tournament is organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
