SAMBA, Mar 13: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five dumpers in the jurisdiction of police stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by incharges of police posts Supwal and Rakh AmbTalli of police Station Samba and incharge police post Rajpura of police station Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, seized five dumpers bearing registration numbers JK21G-7079, JK21G-6359, JK21J-5393, JK08L-0271 and JK02H-8683 while they were illegally transporting/mining the construction material in the area.
After seizure, the vehicles were handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
