JAMMU, Feb 7: The Fencing teams of both men and women categories for the 31st Senior National Men and Women Fencing Championship to be held at Thyagraj Stadium New Delhi from Feb 11-14, 2020 have been announced here today.
The screening was conducted in the presence of Divisional Sports Officer Ravi Singh, Manager Indoor Complex Satish Gupta, General Secretary Amateur Fencing Association, Vijay Sharma, Jt. Secy Rashid Choudhary, Fencing Coach, Rachna Jamwal, Instructor Shotu Lal. Rahul and Rashmi shall accompany the teams as Men and Women Coaches respectively.
The men’s team for Sabre event included Vishal Thapar from Jammu, Javeed Ahmed from Jammu, Udhayveer Singh from Kathua and Pradeep Kumar from Udhampur while the team for Epee event included Vishal Kashyap from Jammu, Veer Sangram from Jammu, Rajan Prasher from Udhampur and Ajay Kumar from Reasi.
The Girls team for Sabre event included Shreya Gupta from Jammu, Jaspreet Kaur from Jammu, Mokshi Sharma from Jammu and Rishika Khajuria from Kathua while for Epee event included Gazal Suri from Jammu, Archana Devi from Reasi, Rishika Sapolia from Kathua and Riya Manhas from Reasi.
