JAMMU, Mar 19: Fencers displayed composure, promise and skill on the concluding day of the 14th J&K State Open Fencing Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Fencing Association, here today.
In Under-12 foil boys, Chanakya won gold, Aryan Vimal bagged silver and the bronze medal was shared by Sahil Choudhary and Shivansh, while IN Under-12 sabre boys, Vansh Tripathi won gold, Sarthak clinched silver and the bronze went to Archit Bhola and Satyam.
In Under-14 epee girls, Ragi Verma clinched gold, Pragya Verma won silver and the bronze emdal was bagged by Saima Ali and Priyanka Devi, while in Under-14 foil girls, Malvi and Ashu claimed gold and silver medal respectively and the bronze was shared by Anita and Tabasum.
In Under-14 epee boys, Sahiban Singh won gold, Pragun Partap Singh clinched silver and the bronze was claimed by Zakir Hussain and Samarthya Gupta, while in Under-14 foil boys, Aryan Manhotra and Bharat Sangral won gold and silver respectively, while Tanish Mahajan and Tanish Charak shared bronze medal.
In Under-17 foil boys, Saksham Gupta won gold, Rahul bagged silver and the bronze went to Aryaman and Jeery Son, while in Under-17 epee boys, Rajan and Munish claimed gold and silver respectively, while Rahul and Zameer shared bronze medal.
In Under-17 foil girls, Riya won gold, while Mansi claimed silver and the bronze medal went to Simran and Preeti.
In Under-17 sabre girls, Sonali won gold, Nitika claimed silver and Simran clichéd bronze medal.
