JAMMU, Mar 11: Tayyab Farooq’s 75 runs helped ICC Sidhra to trounce Singh CC by 28 runs and levelled the series with 1-1 in the ongoing 3 Matches T20 Series, being played at Khel Gaon Nagrota, near here today.
Batting first, ICC Sidhra scored 178 by losing 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs wherein Tayyab Farooq scored 75 runs, while Kamran Malik and Raghu Sharma contributed 41 & 23 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Robin Verma got 3 wickets, while Abhinandan Sharma took 2 and Binny Kesar clinched 1 wicket.
In reply, Singh CC Akhnoor scored 150 by losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs with the help of Rahul Sharma’s 36 runs and Binay Singh and Rahul Manni contributed 34 and 17 runs respectively.
From the bowling side, Ishfaq Lone, Nikhil Manhas and Deepak Singh shared 2 wickets each, while Imtiaz Malik got 1 wicket.
Tayyab Farooq was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance, while Dev Bhagel acted as scorer. The 3-T20 matches’ series is being organized by ICC Sidhra in collaboration with Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor.
