Jammu, Oct 30 : An Extension lecture was held at Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Raipur, Bantalab, Jammu., on theatre and drama by one of India’s best-known theatre actor/ director/ cultural activist Maharaj Krishna Raina.
The lecture was mesmerizing and very informative and greatly applauded by the Management members(HESK) staff and students of GMCEJ, it was followed by question/ Answer session. Raina laid stress on cultural diversity and said that, ” when language dies by memory,ones cultural spine also goes”.
Others who spoke on this occasion was President(HESK) Anil Dhar who highlighted M K Raina’s contribution to Indian Theatre were Shri B.N Zutshi Educational Adviser(HESK) gave a brief life sketch of Shri Raina Principal Dr Bindu Verma welcomed the Chief Guest. Shri A.K Raina General Secretary(HESK),Shri Sanjay Dhar member(E.B ) were also present on this occasion .
