JAMMU, Sept 12: Election agenda of Hockey India was thoroughly discussed during the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Hockey J&K, wherein two office bearers including Rajinder Singh Kaku, senior vice president and Advocate Asima Ali were authorised to participate in Hockey India election, here today.
The election will be held on October 1 at New Delhi.
Anjali Thakur treasurer presented the accounts for 2021-22, while Dr Taran Singh elaborated the report on Hockey activities by Hockey J&K.
During the meeting, Hockey J&K president, Rajeev Sharma stressed upon registration on MU portal of Hockey India and said that no unregistered player will be allowed to participate in the trials for national and the camps. He asked all the units to implement instructions of J&K Sports Council and also announced that payments will be made through digital mode only.
The AGM was held at KK Hakku Stadium under the chairmanship of Rajeev Sharma (President Hockey J&K) wherein other members including Jameel Mustafa (senior vice president), Rajinder Singh Kuku (senior vice president), Manbeer Kour, Randeep Singh and Gurpreet Singh (vice presidents), Dr Taran Singh (secretary general), Dr Karanbir Singh (secy) and others were present during the meeting.
