JAMMU, Mar 2: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today felicitated Rajat Singh Chib, who won the Bronze Medal in Judo at the 38th National Games held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
While interacting with Rajat, the Deputy Chief Minister praised the Government’s efforts to boost sports in the region by providing essential infrastructure and support. He highlighted the importance of sports in fostering overall development, both physically and mentally, and expressed pride in the achievements of Jammu and Kashmir’s sports personalities.
Rajat Singh Chib, a resident of Hunjana, Nowshera in district Rajouri, secured the Bronze Medal in Men’s Judo after a gap of 35 years, marking a historic achievement for the region. The Deputy Chief Minister assured that the Government would continue to support and assist budding athletes in their journey towards national and international success.
