JAMMU, Nov 6: Dushyant Sharma, a senior officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, has been invited to participate in the International Olympic Committee (IOC)-Interpol Workshop on Integrity in Sports in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event, scheduled from November 11 to 13, will focus on the Prevention of Manipulation of Competitions.
In a letter addressed to DGP J&K Nalin Prabhat, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) informed that Sharma has been nominated as the IOC’s representative for the workshop. All expenses for his participation will be borne by the IOC, and he will be considered on official duty.
This invitation marks an important milestone for JKP’s involvement in global sports integrity efforts, further strengthening international cooperation between law enforcement and sports organizations.
