JAMMU, Feb 16: Dream Care Playway School, Rehari Colony, Jammu celebrated its 5th Annual Day Function at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here today.
Tarsem Lal, Chief Education Officer, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Surinder Singh Shingari, ex-corporator and senior Congress leader was the guest of honour.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by a melodious Saraswati Vandana.
School Principal, Nidhi Gupta presented welcome addresss, which was followed by a variety of cultural and allied items presented by the students. Dogri dance and Kashmiri dance were the highlights of the day.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the School Management in establishing the School.
Later-on, Mr Tarsem Lal and Mr Shingari distributed prizes among the winners of various events.
Principal of the School presented vote of thanks, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Chairman of the School, Jagdish Gupta and S Jasbir Singh, Chairman Unique Higher Secondary School, Gadi Garh, Jammu.
