JAMMU, Feb 23: Drass Red lifted 2020 Ladakh Winter Sports Carnival, Jr (Under 18) Ice Hockey & Skating Championship by defeating Drass Winter Games Association, by four goals to nil (4 -0).
The Carnival was organised by Kargil Ice & Snow Sports Club in collaboration with Letsleh.com from February 15 to February 20 at Ice Hockey Rink of Kiss Club at Biamathang Kargil Ladakh in which 6 teams took part.
Commander 121 Infantry Brigade Vivek Bakshi was the chief guest on the Closing Ceremony.
The chief guest distributed the trophies, medals, certificates and mementoes among the winners and runners-up teams, besides other participants.
Jigmate Spaldon, District Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendriya Sanghathan Kargil, District Officers and Army Officers were also present on the occasion.
Aman Ali Khan, General Secretary of Kargil Ice & Snow Sports Club urged upon the UT Administration to encourage sports talent in Kargil.
