DPSJ students selected for Nat’l Swimming contest

JAMMU, Nov 9: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu (DPSJ) were selected for National Swimming competition after excelling in inter-school competition, organised by District Youth Services and Sports wherein Musa Pervaiz emerged as best player of the competition.
The other winners are Jaitej Singh who won one Gold medal in 400 mtrs free stroke, 200 meters breaststroke, 3 Silver medals in 50 meters butterfly stroke, while Vansh Sharma won 2 Gold medals in 200 mtrs, back stroke and 100 mtrs breaststroke and Musa Pervaiz secured 3 Gold medals in 400 mtrs, 200 mtrs and 50 mtrs free stroke, besides Aarav Mangotra clinched 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal in 200 mtrs breaststroke & 50 mtrs butterfly stroke.
Tejasmay Katoch secured one Gold medal and one Silver medal in 200 mtrs & 50 mtrs breast stroke, while Hitarth Choudhary won 2 Silver medals in 100 mtrs & 50 mtrs backstroke and Shambvi Sharma clinched 1 Silver medal and 2 Bronze medals in 50 mtrs free stroke, besides Vaanya Mengi won 2 Bronze medals in 50 mtrs breast breaststroke.
Musa Pervaiz, Aarav Mangotra, Tejasmay Katoch & Hitarth Choudhary have also won Silver medals each in 4 X 100 mtrs free relay race.
The School management congratulated all the winners and their teacher in-charge, Ravinder Deonia for the achievement.
