DPS wins cricket match at K C Sports Club

JAMMU, Nov 23: KC Sports Club hosted a cricket match between KC Public School and Delhi Public School today morning in the under-14 age category. The match was played inside the spacious cricket hall at the Club.
Earlier, after winning the toss and batting first, Delhi Public School scored 34 runs in 8 overs. Shubal Gupta scored 13 runs followed by Shahzad with 6 runs and Muraif adding 4 runs to the total. Prabal took 3 and Sparsh took 2 wickets respectively for K C Public School. K C Public School while chasing the score of 34 runs failed to achieve their target as they scored only 25 runs.
Prabal managed 5 runs followed by Abhiraj with 4 runs and Uttkarsh added 3 runs to the total. Shreyansh Dhar took 3 wickets to lead his team to victory in this well contested match. Shubal Gupta and Shreyansh Dhar from DPS were declared as best batsman and best bowler of the match respectively by the coaches of YSCE.
At the end of the match, players practice with the Bola Bowling Machine imported from England to improve their reflexes under the supervision of YSCE coaches.
