DPS Nagbani holds word building competition

JAMMU, Aug 26: DPS, Nagbani organized word building competition, in which students from class 3rd to 7th took part.
The competition was organized by keeping in view the need to learn new words and increase the vocabulary of the students.
All the students took part in it enthusiastically. They put forth their efforts to make their teams win. Their genius could be seen in the way they were trying to make the new words.
The competition ended in a nail biting situation with the winning team scored 48 points and rest of the two teams lagging behind with 45 and 44 points respectively.
The winning team was awarded merit certificates by the school Principal.
Principal while speaking said that the students should keep the habit of learning new words, which will not only increase their vocabulary but also built their confidence in the future.
Students of Delhi Public School, Nagbani who won first prize in word building competition of different classes were Pratyush Sharma from III, Ananaya Mehra from IV, Ridhima Goel from IV, Promil Rajput from V, Muskan Ranjan from V and Aryan Singh Chib from IV.
